Commissions Closed

Due to the recent passing of my mother, I am not accepting new commissions until further notice. It is imperative at this time that I focus on myself and my health, as well as my family. I appreciate all of your patience and support!

In the meantime, feel free to take a look at my available art prints and stay tuned for further updates!

Commissions

Thank you for your interest in a commissioned artwork! These pieces are uniquely tailored to meet your personal wants and expressions!

Primarily, my commissions are in portraiture. However, I am constantly looking to expand my artistic knowledge and skillsets and would love to hear what you have in mind!

Below, I have listed information regarding the process of ordering a commission.

The Process

I love receiving commission requests! To request a commission, E-mail me at rileyc.artistry@gmail.com for a personalized commission experience! I would love to connect with you. (See the "Contact" tab at the top for more.)

The commission process is the same for Portraits and original artworks.

My waiting list is first come, first serve (with exceptions to those paying the priority fee (See the "Payment" tab at the top for more.)). After I have received a commission request, I will let you know when an estimated time of when I will be able to begin the commission. If the commission is for any type of portrait, I will need a photo reference. For other artworks, photo references may be helpful in order to better understand your personal expectations.

When it gets closer to the time of your commission, we will discuss to finalize the details of your desired artwork and cost.

Next, I will need a deposit which will be half of the price of your commission without additional fees. This is not an extra charge and will be subtracted from the final payment. After the deposit is received, I will begin the commission!

I will send you as many progress pictures as I can through E-mail! I will break the piece into 4 stages of progress. This is important for the "Drastic Changes/ Start Over Fee". See the "Payment Policies" tab at the top for more about potential fees).

Before the commission is complete, I will ask if there are any changes that you would like for me to make. If the changes are small, there will be no fee. If they are drastic or you wish for me to start over, there will be a calculated fee (See the "Payment Policies" tab at the top for more regarding the "Drastic Changes/ Start Over Fee").

Once Everything is finalized and are pleased with your commission, then you pay the rest of the required payment for the commission, including extra fees if you have any. I am more than willing to work out a payment plan with you if necessary. Once all of the payment is received, then I will send you your beautifully personalized artwork via mail! Shipping is included in the quoted rate.

Thank you for supporting me as a small business and local artist! I couldn't do this without you!

Some things you should know before ordering a commission...

1.) Commissions can take a long time to complete. It's difficult to get an estimate of time of completion as every art piece is unique and new to me. The amount of detail I put into every piece is time consuming, but worth it in the end.

2.) Commissions are expensive and expensive for a reason. Aside from the time it takes to complete them, commissions also require a lot of acquired skill that of which I have spent 5+ years cultivating.

Your patience and undertanding are greatly appreciated!
