Payment Policies

Electronic payments and mailed cash/ checks are acceptable forms of payment. Art can only be delivered after payment has been fully processed.

These policies and fees are put in place not to discourage you, but to ensure my financial safety and my ability to continue doing art.

Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation!

Potential Fees

Priority Fee

I do work diligently to complete commissions as quickly as possible. To do this, I budget my time to give an accurate estimate of when I can get them complete. I work on a first come, first serve basis with my commissions. When it is requested that a commission be finished before the others I already have, it can disrupt the time I have budgeted and also cause me to have to work overtime to complete things on time.

To calculate a Priority Fee, I divide the initial price of the commission by 2.

For example: A piece that is $200 would have a fee of $100, which by time of payment would mean the total would come to $300 (unless there are other fees as well).

Fees for Drastic Changes/ Starting Over

I want you to be able to receive the high quality artwork you want! However, art takes time and if I am having to make drastic changes to a piece or even start it over, I have lost time, effort, materials, and it sets back my other commissions/ causes me to have to work overtime. I do not charge this fee for small changes, but for large ones I do need compensation.

I break down my work into 4 stages for this reason. I will update you at each stage. To calculate a Drastic Changes/ Start Over Fee, I take the initial price of the commission and multiply it by a certain percent. They are as listed:

Stage 1: (initial price) x .15

Stage 2: (Initial price) x .30

Stage 3: (Initial price) x .60

Stage 4: (Initial price) x .90

For example: A piece that is $200 would acquire a fee of $60 if I had to make a drastic change or start over after stage 2.

Even if I am close to stage 3, if I have not updated you yet before your request, you will only be charged for stage 2. The total would come to $260 (unless there are other fees as well).

Custom Size Fee

I want to be able to accommodate to your artistic wishes! I do not mind doing custom sizes, but they are something I regularly have in my studio. This requires me to dedicate time, money, and energy into searching for a canvas or paper of your desired size. To calculate a Custom Size fee, I take the square footage of the desired size and multiply it by .05. For example:

The desired size is a canvas that measures at 9x12in. would be 108 square feet. The fee would be $5.40.

Payment Plans

If necessary, personalized payment plans can be developed. Payment plans can be formulated after the deposit of 1/2 of the initial price of the artwork is made.

As long as there is a payment plan in place and proper communication, I do not charge any kind of fees for delayed payments. However, finished artworks can only be delivered after the full payment has been received and processed successfully.

Late fees, if necessary, will be charged as I see fit. Failure to pay or abide by a payment plan will be considered theft and result in legal action.
